WHAT IS GIGPING?

Gigping rose, like a phoenix from the flames from the dusty remains of gighit.com late in 2006. Gighit was originally set up to give exposure to bands and allow people to promote their events way back in 2002. Due to lack of time and various other constraints the site wasn't updated for four years. Now we have a spanking new site with loads more features for venues, promoters, bands and punters.

The concept is simple, you guys make it what it is. You add content, you promote yourself, you network. It's as simple as that.

We're hoping to become the number one event listings website and mobile provider in one. At the time of writing there is currently no independent providers of this kind of content. With the help of the public we can create a organic listings website providing the most current event listings, artist information and music related features.
