Richard Starkey, MBE (born July 7, 1940 in Liverpool, England), known by his stage name Ringo Starr, is an English popular musician, singer, and actor, best known as the drummer for The Beatles.[1] He was the oldest and shortest member of the band, and the last one to join the now familiar "Fab Four" line-up.[1]
