About Roisin Murphy
Róisín Marie Murphy (born 5 July 1973) is a Wicklow-born Irish electronic singer. She was brought up in the nearby resort town of Arklow, further south down Ireland's eastern coast, in County Wicklow. Her family then moved to Manchester, England when she was 12. She gained fame as the vocalist of electronic music duo Moloko before moving on as a solo artist.
