About The Jesus and Mary Chain

The Jesus and Mary Chain are a Scottish alternative rock band that revolves around the songwriting partnership of brothers Jim and William Reid. Hailing from East Kilbride in Scotland, they released a constant string of albums, singles and EPs from their formation in 1984 until their breakup in 1999. In 2007 the band reunited and began work on a new album.
