After meeting during a weekly acoustic Open Mic Night at the University of Sussex, John Fitzpatrick and Steve Boniface discovered a mutual love of playing the same type of music and began playing and writing together soon after. They developed a strong and consistent following at the weekly event, particularly when they took over its weekly running, with their self-penned, upbeat songs and offbeat covers.
