About King Pest

We are King Pest, a guitar 4 piece from South Manchester consisting of a man mountain as lead vocalist and songwriter, an electrician with hooks channelled from other planets, a 30 something who took up drums on hearing a demo of the group after 15 years of not playing and a bass player who looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. Our music is hook-laden power pop with intensely personal lyrics. We have been described as 'The Pixies violating The Beatles whilst being bummed by The Smiths' and 'Gram Parsons if he was in The Pixies'. We believe there are no bigger compliments than these.
