About Shy Child Shy Child is a band from New York City consisting of Pete Cafarella on vocals and keytar and Nate Smith on drums. The duo was formed in New York in the summer of 2000, Cafarella and Smith having previously played together in the band El Guapo (later called Supersystem). The band played around New York for years, releasing their first album 'Please Consider Our Time' in 2002 on a small Montreal label, Grenadine Records, and released their next album 'One With the Sun' on local NYC label Say Hey Records in 2004. Both albums were also released in Japan on Tokyo's Romz Record, and the band did ...
