About The Smashing Pumpkins

The Smashing Pumpkins[1] are a popular American alternative rock band which formed in Chicago in 1988. Although the band has seen several line-up changes, they have consisted of Billy Corgan (vocals/guitar), James Iha (guitar/vocals), D'arcy Wretzky (bass/backup vocals) and Jimmy Chamberlin (drums) for the majority of their recording career.
