About Fat Joe

Joseph Antonio Cartagena (born August 19, 1970), better known by his stage name Fat Joe, is an American rapper. He has also been known as Fat Joe da Gangsta and Joey Crack. Was a member of the Latin Kings. Before establishing his rap career he worked in the streets of the Bronx, New York. Born in The Bronx of Puerto Rican and Cuban heritage, Joe was popular in the New York-underground hip hop scene during the early and mid-1990s. He was also a member of the D.I.T.C.
