About SP1 (SP One)

SP One (the Special Ones) was originally founded in 2002 by Spats and Switch, who first met up at a local DJ battle. The crew was started with the intention of putting Birmingham back on the map in terms of the DJ/scratch scene. Now a 4-man-crew with DJs Rasko and Reach, the group are here to represent to the fullest. Each member is capable of holding their own; Rasko's club-rocking party sets, Reach's off-the-wall MPC material, Spats' dextrous scratch style and Switch's battle-seasoned material.
