Earl Simmons (born on December 18, 1970), better known by his stage name DMX, is an American rapper and actor, who became popular during the late-1990s into the 2000s. Earl Simmons was the second of three children of a single mother, and was born in Mount Vernon, New York Simmons ended up growing up in the School Street housing projects of Yonkers, New York.
