About The Twang

The Twang are an English baggy-influenced band from Birmingham. The band came second in a BBC News website Sound of 2007 poll. He's got the attitude of Liam Gallagher and the charm of Tom Meighan. Now Phil Etheridge and his band The Twang, are destined to be one of 2007's rising new stars. Their mish-mash of baggy, dance and melodic tunes, together with swirling guitars and rough'n'ready urban rhymes, make The Twang a mix of The Streets and Happy Mondays, with a bit of Oasis and Stone Roses thrown in there too.
