About The Wombats

Still unsigned, The WOMBATS are a three piece band from Liverpool whose own brand of shimmering, high-speed punk-pop has grabbed many an ear and tapped many a toe lately. Born in the bustle of the local music scene just two years ago, they comprise two native Liverpudlians; front man Matthew 'Humous howel' Murphy, provider of voice, guitar and keyboards and drummer, b-vocalist Dan 'smart jowels' Haggis while Bass lines and additional humous ammo are provided by Tord Overland-Knudsen, a Viking howel who has made his home in the city.
