About The Hoosiers

The Hoosiers – pronounced Hoozhers, apparently – claim to have grown up in a monastery on the outskirts of Antarctica. But we’re fairly sure the lads are currently based in London. Irwin Sparkes (yodels, guitar), Martin “crying, talking, sleeping, walking? Skarendahl (bass, part-time Swedish socialite) and Alfonso Sharlando (drums) make up the trio and we think you’re going to be hearing a lot from them in 2007. In fact, with indie-pop gold like Worried About Ray and Worst Case Scenario in their arsenal, we reckon they’re just about unstoppable. But not in a scary way.
