About Buraka Som Sistema

One of the most exciting new sounds coming out of Europe right now is Portugal’s Buraka Som Sistema. This Lisbon production trio are Riot, Lil John (no, not that Lil Jon!) and Conductor and they’ve fused carioca funk, kuduro, hip-hop, breakbeat and house into an insanely danceable mix. We reckon their intense, sweaty, downright dirty tunes (with flavours of Brazil and Angola) are going to spread like wildfire across UK dancefloors, propelled by pulsating basslines and unstoppable rhythms.
