thenewno2 is a band comprised of Dhani Harrison and Oliver Hecks. Harrison plays lead guitar, synthesizer, and vocals. Hecks plays drums and synthesizer. Jawnee Burkes and Holland Greco also make contributions. Amanda Butterworth sings female vocals. The name thenewno2 is a reference to a British television show from the 1960s called The Prisoner which was a favourite show of Dhani's father George (the lead guitarist of the popular English rock band The Beatles).
