About Messy MC

I first got introduced to music from an early age, thanks to my influential parents who bombarded me with a combination of Jazz, Soul, Old Jamaican Ska music and the beatles (?). From the age of about 13 I got into UK and US hip-hop which began my passion for writing - after listening avidly to De La Soul, A tribe called quest, Q-tip, Biggie, NWA, and Tupac - I then moved slowly more and more into the UK hip-hop side of things.
